We drove up to Idaho after Ellee's birthday party. We went with Jeremy's sweet nephew's to the Mall to see Santa Clause. Those boys have so much energy and it's just hilarious. It was so fun to watch them get excited to tell Santa what they wanted for Christmas and to watch Jeremy chase them around. :)

Ellee's Birthday
The next day, we went to my parents house to eat cake and sing to Ellee. She's just the happiest little girl. It was so fun to watch her blow out the candles and open her presents.
Temple Lights & Dinner
Jena, Carson and Ellee came down to Salt Lake City on Saturday to celebrate Ellee's second birthday. They went to the Natural History Museum and then we met up with them for dinner at Brio and the temple lights. With it being the last Saturday before Christmas, City Creek Mall was very packed! Despite the crowds, we had a lot of fun. The wait at the restaurant was about two hours long, so we put our name on the list and went to see the lights first.
The Sister Missionaries were singing carols on Temple Square and it was so perfect. We stood there for a bit to listen to them.
We went to dinner after the lights and then just wandered around City Creek for awhile.
I'm so happy that they came down to Salt Lake to celebrate so we could see each other. We just love them.

A Special Day
Today marks two years since I went through the temple for the very first time. I went through the Brigham City temple two weeks before I got married to Jeremy in 2012. I'm so grateful for that decision. I wish I had taken a picture of my family while we were there, but unfortunately, we didn't. Luckily, Cassie (Jeremy's sister) was there to snap this photo of us, and I just love it.
Cookie Exchange
My mom's 11th annual cookie exchange was this weekend. She invites several members of the neighborhood to come to her house, and they all bring about 12 dozen cookies each. She has a theme (this year was Home Alone) and then she gives prizes to those with the best cookies. I wish I had taken more pictures of the entire group, but I forgot to. It was really fun to hang out with most of my family while we were there. We all ate a LOT of cookies. It worked out really well, because Jeremy and I were able to take plates of extra cookies to people in our neighborhood.

Christmas is Coming!
Jeremy and I volunteered as "elves" at a the Provo City Santa run yesterday and it was so much fun. The 5K started and ended at The Riverwoods. We assisted with timing at the finish line, and we got to eat milk and cookies while hundreds of "Santa's" came running in. There was a little down time in the beginning, so we wandered around and found some delicious Blue Bell ice cream! It definitely got us in the Christmas spirit! :)
Shortly after, we went to a surprise party for one of my old Discover Card coworkers, except we were late because of the Santa run, so we missed the actual "surprise" part of it. He's turning 30 and his wife setup a cute little photo booth with props for the party.
Later that night, we went to see the "Tree of Life" at the Draper City Park. It's this big tree that is COVERED in Christmas Lights. It's pretty cool, especially because you can see the Draper City Temple not too far behind it.
I love this photo of Jerm :)
I love this time of year and this was the perfect way to start off December!
