Lately

Time is flying by! I can't believe how quickly Taylor is growing up! Lately, Jeremy has been doing quite a bit of interviews and applying for jobs. We're hoping that we end up near family, but we will see. Taylor and I have been enjoying our days at home.

I'm training for a marathon in September, and Taylor has been the best running partner. While we are running, she will yell "mama, mama, mama!" I assume that she's just cheering me on.

One day, I thought it might be a good idea to try and paint Taylor's toe nails, but it ended up being a pretty terrible one. It got ALL over her and her toys.

She loves doing/folding laundry with me.

I try to take Taylor outside at least once a day because we're currently in a basement apartment. She loves when we go to the park. She loves to watch all of the kids run around and play.

Jeremy has been getting quite a few interviews. He had an interview up near my brother Tommy's house, so while he went to his interview, I took Taylor to play with her cousins.

Taylor has been pretty obsessed with stuffed animals lately. I pretend to talk for them and she just laughs. My mom got her this cute Minnie Mouse outfit, so I just had to take some photos!

We've been going to "cuddle time" at the library every Wednesday and Taylor loves it! They sing songs, read books, play with toys and they have a bubble machine!

Taylor waves at herself when she passes a mirror. I was pushing her around on this toy and every time we passed the mirror, she smiled and waved.

We were at my parents house, and we put Taylor in this jumper. She kept pressing the buttons with her nose instead of her hands and I was dying!

Summertime

I can't believe it's almost already half way through the summer. We are loving this weather! We've went swimming a few times at Katie's apartment complex and it has been a blast! Taylor loves swimming with her cousins.

Taylor and Thomas have been having play dates, and I am obsessed with taking pictures of them together. They are just so adorable.

We went to the splash pad at the gateway and put both babies in the back. Taylor was yelling/talking for a good portion of the drive, and Thomas was trying hard to see what in the world was going on. It was hilarious.

Trip to Wyoming

Most of my family went to Sheridan, WY over Memorial Day weekend to see my Grandma Jennings. It was Taylor's first long road trip. She did so well on the way there, but she was over driving on the way home. We had such a great time! We counted hundreds of antelope on the drive.

While we were there, we went to the same park that I went to as a kid to play around. We also went swimming at the hotel and ate some pretty amazing ice cream. We visited my Grandma and went to work on her house.

We got a photo of the 4 generations of girls, and I'm so glad we did!

Squaw Peak 50 Miler

On June 4th, we went down to help my mom crew my dad in the Squaw Peak 50 Miler. It is the 4th hardest 50 miler in the U.S. and this year was incredibly hot! We met him around mile 25 to cheer him on and give him supplies. Afterwards, we went shopping for a bit, and then waited at the finish line. It was so cool to see all of the finishers! This is part of his training for the Bear 100 in September!
