Lately

We've been having a great summer! It's been going by so fast, but I'm ready for fall. Taylor and I went to look at the Christmas decorations at hobby lobby yesterday, and I was almost crying because I'm so excited for Christmas haha. It's my favorite holiday!

Anyway, Taylor is growing so quickly! She's getting into everything and has the sweetest personality.

She fell asleep on me at church. This NEVER happens, so I had to document it. She usually refuses to sleep if anyone else is around.

Poor girl got a weird rash, so we had to go see the doctor. She didn't mind though, because she was just ripping the paper the entire time.

This is Shep. Taylor just loves him. He lives upstairs, so we see him a lot. They are the cutest little friends.

Just had to document this cute baby butt. Don't mind the poopy clothes soaking next to the stain remover.

She loves taking out my swimsuits.

This is Taylor's favorite filter on snapchat. She actually sticks her tongue out to make it work. I'm honestly amazed that she can already figure out how it works!

This poor girl has about 4 teeth coming in right now.

My mom posted this photo of me on Facebook for my birthday, and I couldn't believe how much it looks like Taylor!!

Jeremy's mom came down to Salt Lake with his sisters for a few days, so Taylor and I went and met up with them to shop. We went to the Cheesecake Factory, and Taylor LOVED it.

We went swimming at Cowabunga Bay with Jeremy's family when they were down here for Lauren's wedding.

We went up to my parents house to celebrate my Dad's birthday, and I tried to get a picture of Taylor and Quinn, but Taylor wasn't having any of it.

In the card I gave him, it included a pin that said "My daughter is #1."

Taylor and Luke just love each other.

We went swimming at the Brigham pool and I jumped off of the diving board. I couldn't believe how nervous I was!! I hadn't jumped off of one in a very long time, and I had butterflies in my stomach.

She tried little Caesars pizza and loved it!

Just a few things that have happened that I want to remember:

  • Taylor and I went through the chick-fil-a drive thru the other day because I needed a root beer, and the car in front of us paid for it. I'd never had that happen before, and I thought it was pretty cool.
  • Taylor was playing with Jeremy's tie at church and saying "dada" over and over again. Jeremy took the tie away, and she immediately started saying "mama, mama"
  • Tay woke up in the middle of the night and was crying, when I walked in to go get her, she just started laughing. I felt tricked haha, but it immediately made me forget how tired I was.
  • Taylor is so social. She'll just wave to anyone and everyone! At church, she'll crawl up to random people and reach until they pick her up.

Birthdays and Goodbyes

On my birthday, some of my family met up at Brio at City Creek for dinner. We celebrated both my birthday and Jena's. It was also a farewell dinner for my brother Chad, because he was moving back to Seattle 2 days later.

Independence Weekend

We went camping in Ashton, Idaho for 4th of July weekend with Jeremy's family and had so much fun! This was us getting ready to head off from Jeremy's parents house. Lane got this new truck, so of course I had to honk the horn.

The first night, we tried sleeping in the tent, but Taylor couldn't stay asleep for long. Around 2:00AM, Tay and I moved to the semi truck bed, and then she slept great! The next few nights, we slept in the RV, so that really helped.

We went to the family reunion and Jordan's baby shower while we were there. We also went to feed the fish at warm river and rode the four-wheeler's a little bit.

We were pretty obsessed with this game. We were all trying to beat Jeremy, but it didn't work.

The cheering section.

Cassie had to go home a few days early, so we had to say our goodbyes.

Taylor was exhausted! I took this picture of her sleeping in the trailer because she to me, she looked just like she had when she was a newborn baby.

Tay wants to eat whatever we are eating. Jeremy was laying on the ground eating this cookie, and she made her way up on top of him and started eating the other side.

My mom sent us to Idaho with this stuffed bear that she got from her trip to Yellowstone. Taylor loved it!!

On 4th of July morning, we went to the parade in Ashton.

Taylor doesn't really like loud noises, so she cried when the firetrucks came by, but Jeremy's mom kept her from crying when they came back through.

We drove home that day and stopped by Tommy's house for a bbq. We were able to watch some fireworks in our driveway, which worked out perfectly because Taylor was pretty tired.
