Valentines Day

Valentines Day was great! Jeremy sent me flowers to my work on Friday, the 13th, which I loved! They completely surprised me! When my coworker brought them over to my desk and said "these are for you," I said, "Are you sure?" (Mainly because there are so many "K" names in the office, people typically get us all mixed up.) I was so surprised and I just love him!

On Valentines Day, we ran the Chasing Cupid's 5K in West Jordan together. It goes through Gardner Village and on the Jordan River Parkway. When we got there, we saw a lot of people that had dressed up because costumes were "strongly encouraged", but we weren't one of them. We actually stuck out because we weren't dressed up. So, we booked it to Wal-Mart and bought some heart stickers to put all over us. :) That helped out a quite a bit.

The race was actually pretty cold in the beginning, but warmed up by the end. They served us snicker-doodle cookies, donuts and chicken noodle soup from the Gardner Village bakery afterwards. It was the best!

We finished the day off by picking up frozen yogurt and going to see "The Imitation Game". It was a perfect day and I'm so lucky to have the best valentine around!

Florida Keys

I travel about once a month for work, and I'm lucky enough to see some pretty cool places. Last week, we had our race in Florida Keys. The race began in Miami and ended in Key West. Miami probably has the worst traffic I've ever seen in my entire life. I had a hard time catching up to the runners because they'd literally be running faster than the traffic. Key West is a cool little city, where EVERYONE rides their bikes. I meant to take more pictures while I was there, but I was really busy and the sleep deprivation didn't give me too much motivation. :) These are some photos I took at the finish line.

Moving to Tennessee

Well, we found out this week that we're moving to Nashville, TN for the summer. Jeremy is currently a Junior at the University of Utah and is studying Chemical Engineering. He has been looking for an internship for this summer for the last few months and Nissan offered him one. It's 12 weeks long and he starts on May 11th. My job is so great and is allowing me to work from home during the summer, so that I can move away with him. I'm so proud of him!

We're so excited to be in a new place together, but we'll definitely miss our family, friends, neighbors and ward!
