Whitley's Wedding

My best friend Whitley got married on January 2nd. I was so happy that I could attend their sealing. Jeremy watched Taylor while I went to the temple. Their ceremony was so sweet. The sealer talked about three different kinds of love, but focused mainly on charity. I was so grateful that I could attend because the spirit was so strong.

Afterward, we went to Honeyville for the luncheon and reception. Tam was in town for it, so we had so much to talk about! Taylor was in the cutest dress ever, but then she pooped out it and had to be in a onesie.

Lately

Jeremy is back in school. It is his last semester of his undergrad degree and we're so excited! He's applying to jobs right now, and we're both so excited to see where we end up! :)

Taylor has been getting a cold over and over again. She got a 101 degree fever about 2 weeks ago for about 24 hours. We took her into the pediatrician, and they said she was alright and to just wait it out. Poor Tay just wanted to cuddle and sleep quite a bit. She is finally starting to feel better, but she has a pretty bad cough during the night time.

Jeremy and I are loving being parents! It's so fun to watch her learn and discover new things. She's been working on tummy time, grabbing things and sitting up. She smiles so easily and I just can't get enough of it!

She does really well sitting in the bumbo, but then she gets distracted by her foot and falls forward.

She is starting to actually reach for things and then grab them. She's doing really well and holding things, but she tends to hit herself in the face with whatever object she has.

She really hated being in the carrier when she was a newborn, but she didn't seem to mind it the other day. She just chews on it though, so it gets covered in drool. :)

The other night, Jeremy had a lot of homework to do and I had a lot of dishes to wash. Taylolr is a big cuddler and was sad when no one could hold her. I set her in the bumbo so she could watch me do the dishes and she loved it! She really liked watching the water come out of the sink.

Tay is 3 Months Old

Taylor is 3 months old and our minds are blown! She has changed so much! She is 15.5 lbs and 25 inches long. She is wearing 6 month clothing and size 3 diapers. She's in the 95th percentile for height and 97th percentile for weight. Her rolls on her legs are to die for and it's so hard to get pants over her adorable thighs, especially with how much she kicks! She took trips this month to both Grandparents houses over Christmas and she did so well, but she got a little cold again. She's had a really hard time sleeping since we've been back, but I'm hoping that passes soon! There are so many things that she love!

  • She loves kicking and playing on her piano
  • She loves baths and loves to splash!!
  • She really loves cuddling. It's honestly the cutest thing. She'll snuggle your face next to hers, and sometimes she'll lick you.
  • She could stare in a mirror all day long. She gets a HUGE grin when she sees one.
  • She loves being on the changing table and on mommy and daddy's bed.
  • She likes watching sports on TV... really, though. I think she likes the movement.
  • She likes to lay on the floor and kick.
  • She is SO curious! She wants people to just hold her facing outward and take her around everywhere.
  • She likes to stare at mom, dad, other children and her Minnie Mouse stuffed animal.
  • She talks all the time. She especially talks after daddy sucks her nose, it's almost like she's getting mad at him for doing it.
  • She's getting so close to sitting up!! She does really well in the bumbo, until she sees her feet and then she wants to look at them, so she fall forward. She likes practicing sitting up on the ground, and gets sad when you stop.
  • She can hold onto things if you put them in her hand. She did grab her rattle the other day all by herself.
  • She found her feet this month.
  • She hates getting her neck and hair washed.
  • She absolutely HATES getting her nose sucked.
  • Unfortunately, she don't really love wearing bows.
  • She still eats very often (about every 2 hours), but she really hates eating in public. She wants to know what's going on all the time, so when I put the cover over her and she hears people, she just stops eating.
