10 Month Update: Taylor met her Uncle Bruce for the first time and watched fireworks for the first time. She started eating solids 3 times a day and would beg for anything that I'm eating. She started LOVING books! She would sit and read books all day if she could. She started crawling and she loves it! She loves putting everything in her mouth. She started loving stuffed animals, going outside and swinging! She would scream whenever I took her out of the swing. She loves being around people and being so social. She loves bananas, mirrors, singing, clapping and waving.
11 Month Update: She went to the county fair and had 4 new teeth this month! She started loving fruit (especially peaches), string cheese, sweet potatoes and pizza. We found out that she hated peas and green beans.
We bought her a toothbrush and she loved it! She started loving sesame street and especially Elmo. She tries to get everyone's attention at the grocery store to say hi. She started standing (assisted) this month. She started mimicking us and giving kisses. She learned how to make a fish face and how to turn around in the grocery cart.
12 Month Update: Taylor and I took a girls trip with Jeremy's sisters and mom to St. George. We went on a lot of hikes this month and took a trip to Idaho. Taylor began transitioning from 2 to 1 nap a day. She stopped letting us feed her, and she HAD to feed herself. She started loving broccoli and chicken. She hated eggs, but later learned to love them! Some of her favorite things were: her new Elmo doll, books, other children, playing peek-a-boo, baths, balloons, dogs (which later became an obsession), bouncy balls, and going outside in her stroller. She learned how to "fake scream" when we say, "I'm going to get you." She learned to walk with her walker and talk on the phone. She would pick up the baby monitor, put it to her ear and say "hello dada."
She could say: dada, mama, nana, grandma, grandpa, hello, uh-oh, baby, no, yeah, kyla, and you usually repeat anything we say.
