Easter

Easter was so much fun! On Saturday, we went to the Bothwell egg hunt with Jena. Taylor was a little hesitant to chase after the eggs, but once she realized candy was inside of them, she was on board.

She LOVED the little petting zoo that they had. There were bunnies and pigs.

She was pretty afraid of the Easter bunny and didn't want to get near him at all. We got her to sort of stand next to him for a picture, but Jeremy had to stay right next to her.

On Sunday, we had Taylor go through her basket. She got bubbles, coloring books, a kite, a book, a baby doll, new dresses, candy, and a bunny stuffed animal from Nana. She immediately wanted to blow the bubbles. She really liked that the baby had a bottle with it, and she thought the kite was pretty fun. She sleeps with her bunny every night now, along with her stuffed bear.

Afterwards, we got Taylor in her new Easter dress and went to church.

After church, we went over to my parents house. We played a bunch of fun games and the kids had an Easter egg hunt.

She found Toby's toy during the hunt and wanted to carry it.

The first game was a race with eggs on a spoon.

My dad won! Twice!

Next, the adults tied balloons to their ankles and had to try and stomp the others balloons without getting theirs popped.

The final three were Carson, Jeremy and Kirk.

Carson won!

We all guessed how many pieces of candy were in the jar and Jena and Cy were the closest!

All in all, it was a fun and eventful day! We can't wait to have our other little girl around next Easter!
